Young Scientists

This hands-on, exciting programme will provide students with a taste of a wide range of STEM subjects. The early part of the week will see students focusing on maths, physics and engineering, being tasked with building geodesic domes and robots. In the second part of the week, students will be introduced to the microscopic world of bacteria, and also move on to discover some of the complexities of the human body. Finally, students need to be ready to marvel at the weird and wonderful properties of polymers, and get their safety specs ready for some fun-filled, explosive chemistry!

This strand aims to encompass all the core STEM subjects and promote the combining of ideas from different disciplines to solve problems.
